Greenpeace and quiet
Dr Mumbo always feels a great deal of sympathy for the big media owners when they complain about small websites ripping off their stories and not giving them credit. He’s pretty sure he’s heard the word “parasites” bandied around.
So imagine his surprise to see those big media players today.
Regular readers of Mumbrella will perhaps be aware that we broke the story of a member of paper company Solaris posting abusive comments about a Greenpeace campaigner back on Tuesday. And the company’s subsequent apology on Wednesday.
The bigger sites caught up last night, not that you’d know the source was Mumbrella.
Not if you read News Limited’s Perth Now, and Herald Sun and Daily Telegraph and news.com.au anyway. Or the mighty Nine News.

Who owns AAP again? Ah yes, mainly News Limited and Fairfax.
Look, i just can’t wait til traditional media is DEAD so i can get all my news off facebook, twitter, blogs and forums. I’ve found any source containing the acronyms LMFAO, ROTFL or simply LOL to be particularly trustworthy.
