Greenpeace Australia anti-trawler campaign to go global

Creative agency JayGrey has launched a poster campaign for Greenpeace Australia Pacific around the green group’s protest against super trawler Margiris, a ship that is likened to “a weapon of mass destruction”.

The posters backed the ultimately successful effort to prevent the vessel from fishing in Australian waters, and will now be used as part of a global effort to stop the trawler.

JayGrey’s creative director Jay Furby agreed to create the pro bono campaign after meeting Greenpeace’s digital editor Jamie Ling at Mumbrella 360 this year. The two sat on a panel on culture jamming.
