Greg Barnes appointed CFO of Nine Entertainment
Greg Barnes has been appointed CFO of Nine Entertainment.

Nine Entertainment Co. (ASX:NEC) has today announced the appointment of Mr Greg Barnes as Chief Financial Officer, effective 4 July 2016. Mr Barnes will report to NEC’s Chief Executive Officer, Hugh Marks.
Announcing the appointment, Mr Marks said “I am delighted to appoint Greg to the role of CFO. His extensive financial and public market experience will prove invaluable to us through this period of industry evolution. As we move to take advantage of opportunities that lie ahead in the media sector, his broad sectoral experience will prove a valuable addition to the senior management team.”
Greg Barnes said “I’m thrilled to be joining NEC and to working with Hugh and the team. NEC has a great history, strong market positions and is well placed to play a leading role in a pivotal time for the industry.”
Greg is currently Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed CSR Limited, having joined the group in 2009. During his time at CSR, Greg has been responsible not only for Group financial outcomes, but also played a leading role in the development and implementation of the Group corporate strategy. Prior to joining CSR, he was VP Finance at Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific. Greg has broad market experience across a number of sectors including building materials, mining services, technology and software, as well as extensive international experience.
Greg is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has an MBA from the Macquarie School of Management.
