Helen Lecopoulos moves from McDonald’s to Woolworths media role
Media veteran Helen Lecopoulos has departed McDonald’s for a new role as head of media with Woolworths, Mumbrella can reveal.
Lecopoulos previously spend two and a half year’s with McDonald’s where she was media and sponsorship manager, managing the brand’s sponsorship portfolio, management of state marketing teams and handling agency performance.
Previously she worked as marcomms media manager for P&G and before that as GM of media for Telstra. She has also worked agencyside including at Optimedia.
Woolworths – which has seen a number of changes in its marketing lineup in recent weeks including the departure of group marketing boss Kurt Kamp after just a year and arrival of Jess Gill as GM of marketing for the supermarket brand – did not respond to Mumbrella’s inquiries about Lecopoulos’ appointment.
