Helloworld moves $14m media account

helloworldTravel brand Helloworld has moved its media account from Initiative to OMD, Mumbrella can reveal.

The account is thought to be worth around $14m with the decision to move the account finalised in the last few weeks.

The move comes nine months after Kim Portrate the former consumer marketing at Tourism Australia, was made chief marketing officer of the travel company.

Helloworld, which was previously the Jetset Travelworld Group, declined to comment on the move of media agency.

Droga5 is the brand’s creative agency and remains on the roster.

Mid last year Droga5 led a major rebranding of many of the group’s franchises including Jetset, Harvey World Travel and Travelworld to the new Helloworld brand.
