Charles Hunter, goCatch director of sales & marketing, said in a statement: “Hill+Knowlton might have a great reputation in the PR space, but I was more taken with their approach and genuine enthusiasm for goCatch, and also by the breadth and strength of their offer.

“Having the opportunity to meet and speak with the entire H+K team was also an important part of the process for us. I’m really excited to see what we’ll all come up with together.”

Penelope Holloway, managing director of H+K, said in a statement: “In our agency, we were already diehard users of the goCatch app. In fact, when goCatch first launched in this market, we sent Ned [Moorefield, goCatch founder & CEO] a note saying congratulations and how excited we were to see his business develop. After four years, it is very rewarding for us to now be part of the journey.

“It’s also a good match. A big part of H+K’s daily practice – both in terms of our own business and that of the brands we champion – is to find ways to be disruptive, explains Holloway. So we were already big admirers of this type of disruptive of business model.

“The win for H+K is something the whole team contributed to. From the moment goCatch’s name was mentioned, everyone at H+K had their hand up – either wanting to work on the account, contribute to the pitch, or dream up great creative strategy and a whole bunch of compelling ideas. I think that the enthusiasm we have for this client not only clinched it, but will be indicative of our approach to their business over the long term.”

Other H+K clients include LG, Air New Zealand, Coca-Cola and Wrigley’s.
