PR agency Hill+Knowlton Strategies has made three new senior hires.

The announcement:

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has grown its talent pool in Sydney with the addition of three new members to its management team. With a number of new and growing clients, the industry experts will support H+K’s growing consumer marketing and corporate offers, whilst continuing to support H+K’s growing business within Sydney and across Australia.

The newest members to the management team include: Amelia Tipping, Head of Consumer Marketing; Michelle Curley, Head of Corporate; and Nick Snelling, Head of Content.

Commenting on the appointments, Penelope Holloway, H+K Sydney Managing Director, said:
“I’d had the pleasure of working with Millie and Nick before they joined H+K and both are well known to me, so I was absolutely thrilled when they agreed to be part of our growing team. Michelle joins H+K from our sister agency, PPR and joining us with a strong recommendation, she’s very quickly hit the ground running.

“Not only are our three new recruits seasoned professionals with a wealth of experience, they’re also really awesome people and teammates; they’ve fit in perfectly with the fun bunch at H+K. I know they’ll bring a lot to our team and the work we do.”

AMELIA TIPPING
Amelia (known to friends and colleagues as Millie) joins the senior team as the new Head of Consumer. Her experience in consumer PR and strategic communications, both locally and the UAE will provide a fresh perspective and new insights to H+K’s existing client portfolio. She’ll also play a key role in business development. Amelia’s experience includes a focus on entertainment, telecommunications, food and beverage, retail, supermarket and banking. She joins H+K from her most recent permanent role at M&C Saatchi’s Bang PR.

MICHELLE CURLEY
Michelle joins H+K from fellow WPP agency Professional Public Relations (PPR) where she was a Senior Account Director in the Sydney office, managing a range of clients including Randstad and Mortgage Choice. At H+K, Michelle is leading the corporate team and clients across financial and professional services and brings a proven track record across media relations, corporate communications and crisis and issues management.

NICK SNELLING
Nick brings over 15 years of experience in the Australian media as a writer, editor and film-maker. As Head of Content at H+K, Nick conceptualises, plans and executes content strategies, media pitches and PR campaigns for any number of our big-name, blue-chip clients. Prior to joining H+K, Nick was a music journalist and editor working in men’s publishing, before a stint helming annual publications for the Royal Australian Navy and the G20.

The appointments were made following several recent client wins including LG Electronics, Bombay Sapphire and Energi Metals, amongst others.
