Hog’s Breath appoints first PR firm in 25-year history to handle ‘year of change’
Hog’s Breath Australia has handed PR responsibility to the TwoCents Group, marking the first time it has appointed a public relations agency in its 25 year history.
TwoCents Group will oversees PR for the brand’s “year of change” in 2016.
Hog’s Breath general manager Ross Worth said in a statement: “We have some great stories to tell, not just about the brand and restaurant initiatives planned for 2016, but also the many things we do in the community with charities and sponsorships, both at a national and local level.
“We’ve worked with the team before and know their capabilities and that they have a great understanding of our identity.”
TwoCents Group director Samantha Brooks said in a statement: “We’re obviously delighted to be working with such a successful and well-known Australian brand at a time of great change for them.
“The Hog’s Breath philosophy of fun and strong sense of community will remain unchanged but there will be some significant initiatives for the brand over the coming year, and we can’t wait to start sharing their stories.”
TwoCents Group starts work on the account immediately.
I’ll never forget the shameful way they went after that Gosford takeaway store and for that they’ll never be forgiven. I wonder if their new branding strategy includes a name change to ‘Hoggy’s’ that has been creeping into their TVC scripts. Choke on your curly fries Ross Worth.
