Lucid dreaming, a talking dog and a car chase all used to promote Honda’s new HR-V

Honda has released a 60-second ad for its new HR-V featuring a man refusing to wake up from a dream complete with a talking dog, an epic car chase set to the Eurythmics song Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).

Last week the brand launched a 15-second teaser for the new campaign, created by Leo Burnett Melbourne, which featuring no shots of the new car.

The full ad, created by Leo Burnett Melbourne, sees Brian embark on a bizarre adventure after reading a book on lucid dreaming which seems him chased around a city by men in black uniforms accompanied by his talking dog.

The teaser launched into market last week and featured a clip from the full ad but did not feature any shots of the actual Honda HR-V itself.
