Honda sponsors flower and garden show

Honda is sponsoring the 2013 Melbourne International Flower and Garden show.

The announcement:

Honda Australia is proud to announce its partnership with the 2013 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, one of Australia’s biggest outdoor exhibitions of world-class landscape and floral design.

Honda Australia Director and General Manager Sales and Marketing, Mr. Stephen Collins is excited to join an internationally renowned event. “Our founder, Soichiro Honda, articulated our global vision to leave blue skies for our children. We believe the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show shares our values of sustainability and this is the perfect forum for us to share our vision.”

As part of the partnership, Honda has naming rights to the “Honda Sustainability Award”, a feature in the official proceedings at the opening breakfast on Wednesday, 20 March.

The “Honda Sustainability Award” recognises the exhibit that demonstrates high quality design features whilst displaying or hosting sustainable attributes. The award recipient will also drive away in a Honda Civic Hybrid for twelve months.

Two of Honda’s newest models will be on display at the Show: the all-new CR-V and the sporty Civic Hatch.

Held annually since 1995 and attracting up to 110,000 local and international visitors, the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show runs from 20 to 24 March at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.
