Hunt begins for the next five digital stars

yahoo digital starsDigital publisher Yahoo!7 has launched a hunt for five up-and-coming stars of the Australian media agency world with the prize up for grabs of VIP places at Mumbrella360 in June.

Yahoo!7 Digital Stars is aimed at identifying digital talent in the first five years of their careers.

As well as the $1800 tickets to Mumbrella360 on June 5 and 6, the prize includes all expenses covered for the trip to Sydney, the chance to host guests at the Mumbrella360 cocktails on June 5. The digital stars will also be hosted by Yahoo!7 at the Mumbrella Awards on June 6.

Those entering will be asked to provide a 150 word submission on why they are a digital star of the future. Entries close Wednesday, April 17.

It is the second time Yahoo!7 has run the Digital Stars program. “The 2012 Yahoo!7 Digital Stars program was a resounding success. Yahoo!7 Digital Stars provides media planning and buying talent with a platform to voice their opinion and the recognition they deserve,” said Damon Scarr, commercial director of Yahoo!7.

Entry is available via the Digital Stars website.
