Icon PR wins digital asset duties for Kinetic Super

Icon has been handed the brief to overhaul Kinetic Super’s digital assets after working with the business for eight months on its PR.

The release:

Kinetic Super has announced the appointment of Icon Agency as its digital partner. The Agency has been tasked with helping the Fund bring the brand to life across all digital assets while making it easy for members to stay connected with their super. The scope of work includes implementing Kinetic Super’s digital strategy involving the design and development of campaigns, website and eDMs, along with the BAU management and maintenance of digital assets.

Icon was one of three agencies invited to pitch for the account and has already been working with Kinetic Super for the past eight months looking after public relations.

According to Kinetic Super’s Marketing Manager Lynda Cavalera, the appointment of Icon is exciting as the brand’s above the line campaign is brought to life across digital platforms.

“Icon is one of Melbourne’s leading creative communications agencies with a reputation for great design and smart PR campaigns,” said Ms Cavalera.

“Apart from an outstanding pitch presentation we are confident that Icon will deliver the goods for our BAU work as well as our digital platform and communications activity.

“The tone and new look for Kinetic Super’s website refresh will place members and employers at the heart of the customer journey development, design and content. The website is an important tool for not only our current members and employers, but also prospective customers who are looking to join an award-winning Fund,” she said.

Icon’s Senior Digital Producer, Dan Gregson, said “the first refresh of Kinetic Super’s website will simplify the information architecture to provide an improved user experience and better align the website with the new brand campaign.

“As with all of our work, we’ll be developing with the ‘mobile first’ mentality, made all the more critical by the February announcement of Google’s Matt Cutts on the expansion of “mobile friendliness” for SEO ranking.

“The result will be a really slick consumer and employer facing site that will capitalise on Kinetic Super’s stunning brand imagery,” he said.

For over a decade the team at Icon has been helping clients innovate across all channels, while icon.pr provides end-to-end public relations, brand activation and strategic communication.
