The Iconic hires marketing director and head of customer retention

Online fashion retailer The Iconic has appointed Sally Bonner as marketing director and Clare Zacka as head of customer retention

Bonner is a former senior marketing manager at Westfield while Zacka joins from rival online shopping club BrandsExclusive where she headed their marketing function.

“The Iconic has already redefined the way Australians shop and, with online rapidly becoming the new norm, I’m excited to be part of The Iconic shopping revolution,” said Bonner in a statement.

Zacka has worked extensively in the area of consumer loyalty marketing in both agency and client side positions and has worked for brands including David Jones American Express and CBA’s Commonwealth Awards.

“I’m thrilled to be part of an authentically customer-centric business at The Iconic,” said Zacka. “I’m excited to own the mandate of ensuring our every customer interaction is optimised to deliver an online shopping experience second to none.”

The appointment of Bonner and Zacka comes at the same time the three year old company announced Adrian Gribbin as its a new CFO.

The Iconic CEO Patrick Schmidt said growth was a key focus for 2014 as The Iconic  looked to expand its market share.
