In The Thicket creates ad for food charity SecondBite

Film production studio In The Thicket has produced a 30 second ad for food charity SecondBite.

The announcement:

SecondBite has launched a social media campaign featuring a cheeky digital animation of Sir Isaac Newton to help promote SecondBite National Fundraising Month at Coles from June 12 to July 9.

The video features a reclining Sir Isaac who gets hit on the head with a wayward apple and bemoans letting them fall to the ground to rot when they could be collected by SecondBite to feed hungry Aussies this winter.

SecondBite hopes to raise half a million dollar target at Coles this month to continue their essential work to redistribute fresh food to over 900 community food programs across Australia.

Throughout the four week campaign all Coles shoppers can make a difference simply by making a donation at the register or by purchasing a raffle ticket at any Coles store. Each ticket gives the chance to win Coles gift cards worth up to $1,500.

Elaine Montegriffo, CEO of SecondBite said that all proceeds will go to the Coles Community Food with SecondBite program which provides fresh healthy food to Australia’s most vulnerable men, women and children.
