Initiative appointed to Manheim automotive auctions

Media agency Initiative has been appointed to Manheim automotive auctions. Initiative won the appointment from BossMan Media.

The announcement:

Initiative has been appointed as the national media communications agency for Manheim automotive auctions as the company prepares to ramp up its communications in 2013.

Manheim’s Australasian corporate office is based in Melbourne and is part of a global network of specialist automotive auctions and related businesses with 130 locations worldwide.

Initiative was appointed after a competitive pitch involving several media agencies and is now planning communications across online, radio, outdoor and print to inform Manheim’s existing customer base of new developments, as well as to win new customers.

“Initiative demonstrated clear insights into how consumer trends and behaviour impact on media communications strategy. We are looking forward to implementing their recommendations into 2013,” said Merqtoosha Camilleri-Medina, Manheim marketing manager.

Andrew Mudgway, managing director of Initiative Melbourne, said Manheim held a high profile amongst its target audience. “Manheim is a dynamic business with constantly changing inventory. This means media planning and execution must be tuned to target-market interest in Manheim programs. We are looking forward to working with them.”

Prior to Initiative’s appointment, the primary media assignment for Manheim was held by Melbourne agency BossMan Media.
