Jack White returns to Clemenger BBDO as Peter Chapman joins Engima

ENI_headshots_PeterC#E41D45Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has welcomed back Jack White to the agency, replacing Peter Chapman who has joined Newcastle-based Engima as executive director.

White joins the agency as a senior account director and takes on Chapman’s duties as the brand lead on one of its biggest clients Carlton & United Breweries (CUB).

A Clemenger spokesperson said: “Both Pete and his wife originally come from Newcastle and they’re moving back to be closer to family. We will miss having Chappie in the agency. However, we’re delighted to welcome back Jack White, who returns to the Clemenger fold after a brief hiatus with another agency and is very familiar with CUB.”

White has most recently worked with Whybin\TBWA  for a year and three months as an account director and previously was an account manager with Clemenger from February 2011 to November 2012.

Chapman, who was the brand lead for CUB for two years with Clemenger, has returned home to Newcastle to take up a role as an executive director with Enigma.

“I’m not only delighted that we’re back to raise our kids in the best place on earth, I’m also excited to rejoin Newcastle’s business and creative communities. The growth and evolution of Newcastle as a city has been a hot topic nationally of late and I reckon they’re onto something,” said Chapman.

Prior to Clemenger Chapman was with JWT as a senior account director for three years.

Enigma managing director Lisa Sutton-Gardner said: “Peter’s experience in national agencies strengthens Enigma’s strategic marketing and branding expertise.”
