Sydney-based PR agency FleishmanHillard Australia has promoted vice president Jenna Orme to general manager, Mumbrella can reveal.

Orme joined the agency in November 2013 as vice president after two and a half years with Hausmann Communications. Roberto Pace, the managing director of Whybin/TBWA Diversified Brands (FleishmanHillard and Eleven), was previously handling FelishmanHillard’s GM duties following the departure of the former general manager Chris Newman in April.

“I’m delighted to be leading FleishmanHillard Australia. It’s an exciting time for the agency as well build on the momentum achieved in 2015. We have a strong team, diverse specialities and the power of a global network that’s 70 years young in 2016,” Orme said in a statement.

FleishmanHillard is a global consumer and corporate PR agency and is part of the Omnicom network. In Sydney it is part of the Whybin/TBWA Group which also includes creative agency Whybin/TBWA and Eleven PR.

Pace said in a statement: “Jenna is vibrant and determined. She has a clear vision for FleishmanHillard Australia and how to make the best use of our local and international partnerships to deliver work that gives this quiet achiever a greater profile.”

Orme’s appointment follows a number of wins for the agency including being awarded the PR account for Bellamy’s Organic, in partnership with sister-agency Whybin/TBWA.

FleishmanHillard will take on a regional hub role coordinating its fellow Shanghai and Singapore offices. The remit includes consumer and corporate communications and social media, as part of an integrated Whybin/TBWA solution.

Also in partnership with the creative agency, FleishmanHillard was awarded the account for Cabcharge and the Combined Communications Network taxi brands, covering communications and stakeholder engagement.

Other wins include CoolScuplting by Zeltiq and projects for Wonderful Pistachios, Equal and TCL electronics.
