Junior MasterChef finale gets less than 1m, Spicks and Specks finale draws 1.6m

The finale of Junior MasterChef drew less than 1m viewers for Ten, while ABC1’s music quizz show Spicks and Specks pulled in an impressive 1.569m for its final episode, topping the Wednesay night ratings.

It was a rare night that saw both Nine and the ABC claim a larger audience share than Seven – and Ten fall outside of the top three ranking channels, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Nine News and a double episode of The Big Bang Theory helped Nine pip ABC by just 0.7% in audience share to win the night.

On a poor night for Seven, the network’s top-rating non-news show was Home & Away, which pulled in less than 1m viewers.
