JWT wins inaugural ACE award

JWT Melbourne has won the inaugural ACE of Excellence award at the Australian Creative Excellence Showcase last night, hosted by Val Morgan.

The agency won for its campaign Stories Unbound for the Melbourne Writers Festival.

The top three entrants were rounded out by DraftFCB’s Honda Palace Cinema Robots campaign, and BWM’s ‘dress’ campaign for Selleys.

Richard Muntz, ECD for JWT Melbourne said: “We’re delighted to win this very respected award in such a great medium. Winning the inaugural ACES is testament to our ongoing commitment to the Melbourne Writers Festival and their commitment to producing great creative work.”

BWM’s ECD Rob Belgiovane praised the high calibre of entries.

Philipa Murphy, Val Morgan’s brandfit productions manager said “We’re delighted with the response we’ve had to the ACES. I’m really looking forward to building on the next showcase which is scheduled for later this year.”
