Kahn leaves Markson Sparks to launch own PR agency
Celebrity agent Max Markson’s senior publicist Lewis Kahn has left the agency to start his own venture, Rainmaker Communications.
Kahn had worked at Markson Sparks for four years and prior to that was in the UK where he ran his own PR and events agency, Handmade Media.
Rainmaker Communications will handle PR for clients UTS InSearch, beauty brand Nude by Nature, experiential marketing agency Rinsed Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Wrinkle Freeze – a natural alternative to Botox.
On launching the new agency Kahn said: “It’s always something I’ve wanted to do, after also having owned my own agency in the UK for eight years. Now is the right time to branch out on my own.”
Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large.
