Kenny Stewart promoted CEO of Mitchells and Vizeum

KennyManaging director of Mitchells Brisbane Kenny Stewart has been promoted to CEO of media agencies Mitchell & Partners and Vizeum across Australia and New Zealand.

The newly created role sees Stewart take responsibility of both agencies and comes a month after parent company Aegis announced the promotion of Simon Ryan, to run the network’s other media agency Carat.

“Kenny is a person of outstanding character, capabilities and credentials with market-leading experience working with agencies and clients across the complete spectrum of size and scale. Kenny is a proven leader who is highly respected by his clients and our staff, and has strong relationships across the media industry,” said Luke Littlefield, CEO of Aegis Media Australia & New Zealand.

“I am delighted that the clients and staff of both Mitchells and Vizeum nationally will now receive the benefit of his skills and experience. A big part of Kenny’s remit is to build on the individual strengths of each agency, working closely with the senior managers in each office to deliver the best service for their clients and grow their business.”

Stewart said he would be focusing both agencies on growth.  “We have exceptionally strong teams across our agencies and they are poised for growth. I’m really looking forward to working with our very able senior management teams on the opportunities ahead,” said Stewart.

“Our focus on ideation and strategies for clients in this digitally convergent world will be aggressive.”

“For Aegis Media, it is also advantageous to have a senior executive role established in Queensland at a time when we are continuing to expand our full communications services in Brisbane, allowing us to leverage our already strong market share in delivering class leading services and value to our clients nationally.”

Before joining Aegis Stewart was the managing director of Starcom Mediavest and has also been the head of Wunderman.
