Peter Wiltshire, Group Sales and Marketing Director of Nine Entertainment Co. today announced KFC and Holden as the major partners of the Nine Network’s highly anticipated reality series Big Brother.
In announcing the partnerships, Mr Wiltshire said “the return of the Big Brother series signifies Nine’s continued commitment to deliver outstanding local content that provides advertisers with an unrivalled integration platform.
“We experienced unprecedented success in the first half of 2012 with formats such as The Voice and The Block, and we expect to replicate this success with Big Brother. The format naturally lends itself to some really interesting integration concepts, and with the added involvement of social media, Big Brother is set to provide KFC and Holden with an engaging advertising vehicle.
The partnership will see KFC leverage the next phase of the ‘So Good’ campaign across a number of Nine Entertainment Co. media outlets, including tailored Big Brother television creative running on the Nine Network, and digital content running across ninemsn and popular social media sites.
Nikki Lawson, Chief Marketing Officer for KFC Australia, is proud to announce the brand’s partnership with Channel Nine’s Big Brother.
“KFC is thrilled to partner with Channel Nine this year to provide more moments within Big Brother to make consumers TV viewing ‘so good’. We look forward to directly engaging with audiences through some exciting multi-channel initiatives during this new series.”
Nine’s Director of Content and Brand Integration, Lizzie Young said “we are thrilled to see KFC and Holden leverage what is set to be one of the most engaging and exciting series of 2012. The integration opportunities that both partners are implementing are really exciting, and will definitely engage the audience beyond the single screen.
