Kred launches social rewards program
Social media influence analytics platform Kred has launched its new global rewards program.
Kred, the leader in Community Influence and Outreach analytics, today announced the launch of Kred Rewards, the first shareable and transparent rewards program for social media influencers. Early marketing partners committed to working with Kred Rewards include SOL REPUBLIC, popchips, Zinio Networks, AVG Technologies and .CO Internet. Other partners will be announced in the coming weeks at http://rewards.kred.com.
Kred Rewards connects brands with influential social media users in Communities defined by shared interests. Influence is determined with Kred, which calculates Community Influence and Outreach scores
in real-time based on their social interactions. Game play elements make Rewards available to everyone regardless of their influence score. Influencers selected to receive a Kred Reward can opt to ‘Pass’ it to a
connection and others can ‘Unlock’ a Reward by asking their friends to tweet about it.
“Kred Rewards puts the brand in the hands of key influencers in a very cost-effective way. It has the dual benefit for brands of finer targeting and more control over who is offered a reward, as well as adding
game play that increases brand exposure beyond the people accepting the initial offer,” said Andrew Grill, CEO, Kred. “Brands also get exceptional value from receiving a detailed report on the influencers who
participate in a Kred Rewards campaign.”
Transparency and sharing extend to the data created by a Kred Rewards campaign. Marketing partners collaborate directly with Kred to select key influencers and deliver memorable experiences. At the close of
the campaign, marketers receive a comprehensive analytics report on the effectiveness of the promotion.
“SOL REPUBLIC is always looking for disruptive partners who help us achieve our mission of reaching music enthusiasts in unique ways. We believe if music sounds better, it feels better, and we’re excited
to partner with Kred Rewards to share our sound experience with their consumers,” said Seth Combs, Chief Marketing Officer, SOL REPUBLIC.
.CO Internet, the company behind the fast-growing .CO domain, will use the Kred Rewards platform to engage with the Social Media and Tech communities in the EU, and provide top influencers with an offer
for 12-month .CO registrations. “Kred Rewards gives us a unique opportunity to identify and engage with individuals that are on the cutting-edge of technology and social media,” said Linda Koritkoski,
Director of Marketing, .CO Internet. “Our goal is to have the future of the internet built on .CO, and Kred Rewards will help us to reach the people and businesses that are doing just that.”
Security software vendor AVG Technologies plans to use Kred Rewards to identify and connect with a targeted set of customers to increase brand awareness and reward their brand advocates. “Kred
Rewards lets us deliver our messages and products directly to influential people that we have high confidence will be receptive to our offer,” said Jill Hunley, VP of Global Social Media. “We love the
way we can hyper-target based on what people say through social media about their interests and experiences, which means that we can tailor Rewards to them that have high relevance.”
Zinio Networks, the world’s largest, multi-device accessible magazine newsstand, will offer complimentary magazine subscriptions through Kred Rewards. “Kred Rewards lets us strategically target people
who are influential voices in their communities. It’s a complete win-win when Zinio can engage Kred influencers with publications that speak to their passions,” said Jeanniey Mullen, Chief Marketing Officer,
The Kred Rewards platform was inspired by ideas and suggestions from members of Kred Leaders, a group of selected social media influencers who are experts in using Influence and Outreach to
accomplish altruistic, personal and professional goals. Kred Rewards was developed to let brands take best practices developed by Kred Leaders for reaching and activating their natural communities.
