The Leading Edge has appointed Landor Australia’s Florencia Tarelli as director of strategy and High Definition Insights’ Katharine Milner as director of qualitative insights, Mumbrella can reveal.

Tarelli has been the strategy director at Landor Associates for just over a year and in the past has worked with brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsico, Diageo and British American Tobacco.

Leading Edge chairman Nigel Marsh said: “Florencia brings a wealth of client and agency side experience. The agency has been quietly building over the year and having someone of Florencia’s calibre join the team is only going to help add to the momentum”.

On her appointment Tarelli said: “I immediately gelled with the team at TLE. I like their commitment to delivering brilliant advice based upon rigorous thinking, inspired research and strategic smarts – in an environment where people can express themselves, have fun and be provocative”.

Milner has been the director of High Definition Insights for the past five years and has also worked with Wrigley, Kellogg’s and Nielsen.

Leading Edge managing director Lee Naylor said: “It’s great to welcome someone of Katharine’s calibre to our talented team. She brings a wealth of experience from both her agency and client background that we know our clients will appreciate enormously”.

The appointments follow the departure of Chrissy Blackburn, global strategy partner and head of brand strategy, last month.
