Legal practice to service entertainment biz launches in Sydney

A legal practice has launched in Sydney to service the entertainment business.

SYDNEY, 25 March 2013 – Entertainment legal services practice David Whealy and Associates has launched in Sydney basing its office on the lot in the professional area of Fox Studios Australia.

The practice that provides comprehensive legal services for the entertainment industry in addition to executive producing TV and film projects is headed by industry law expert David Whealy who said, “We are delighted to have launched David Whealy and Associates in Sydney as we offer a unique range of services for the film, TV, music and sports industries.”

Whealy has over twenty years experience in the entertainment industry including senior legal positions with Omnilab Media, Holding Redlich, Beyond Entertainment, ABC TV and PolyGram Records and the practice as a whole offers legal services which span contract negotiations, film distribution, production agreements, talent contracts, chain of title, IP, trade practices and defamation issues.

We are regularly involved in projects from their very inception through script development, funding, production and distribution.
