Leo Burnett leads the way as Australia collects green at One Show Awards

One ShowAustralia has scored 13 Pencils at the One Show Awards in New York, with Leo Burnett leading the way with three for the World Wildlife Fund and Samsung.

George Patterson Y&R in Brisbane won two golds, taking home the prize for its Melanoma Likes Me campaign for Melanoma Patients Australia.

Clemenger BBDO also won gold for its Rate My Roof campaign for Origin Energy and a bronze for its Transport Accident Commission Strings Campaign.

Leo Burnett won the Green Pencil and a silver for its cross-platform work for the WWF, Just, while the Celebrity Tantrum and LifeLive work for Samsung both won silver.

Other agencies winning at the festival included Atomic 212 (Double Robotics) and J Walter Thompson Sydney (Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain), which both won silver.

Whybin/TBWA Melbourne (ANZ), M&C Saatchi Sydney (Blue Ball Foundation) and  DDB Melbourne (Kidsafe), all won Bronze.

Overall Australia was ranked ninth with 66 entries winning pencils or merit awards while the US, UK and France were the most awarded countries.
