Leo Burnett’s Paul Everson moves to JWT Sydney as client services director

Paul EversonJWT Sydney has appointed Leo Burnett group business director Paul Everson as client services director, a position vacated when Jenny Willits was promoted last month to general manager.

Everson will be responsible for managing a 20 plus account management team and has a remit to “built on the agency’s client service capabilities across the board” and will oversee and manage two clients Johnson & Johnson and Nestle.

Everson, who’s appointment is effective immediately, comes to the role after after seven years with Leo Burnett as the agency’s group business director where he managed clients including McDonald’s, Heineken, WWF, Earth Hour, EnergyAustralia, and ABS.

In a statement he said: “JWT was an exciting prospect for me. I believe in the vision that John (Gutteridge) and Jenny have for the agency. It’s great to be joining a team that values the client relationships and the creative product as much as I do.

 “JWT has an impressive line up of clients and I look forward to working with them and the account management team to help them reach their goals and develop world-class ideas.”

Prior to Leo Burnett Everson had been with Saatchi & Saatchi for just over a year as a senior account director.
