Louis Vuitton wraps The Herald
Louis Vuitton has promoted its new flagship store by wrapping 15,000 copies of this morning’s Sydney Morning Herald with an image of the store illuminated at night.
The store, located on George Street in Sydney, opens tomorrow.
Zac Skulander Fairfax Media’s FX creative manager said: “We are very excited with the results, particularly as we have only ever wrapped the Herald a few times in our 180-year history.”
The ad uses a high-end 150g stock, thicker than the newspaper.
Skulander added: “It was fantastic to partner with Louis Vuitton and media agency Mediacom to bring this communication to life. As a truly great premium brand, Louis Vuitton has very close synergies with the Herald’s readership, and to be able to help celebrate the new store’s opening was an excellent opportunity for us.”
They must be feeling sick that they bought that building and not one next to Westfield.

I presume you mean next to Westfield Parramatta.

Like many other brands of that scale, they have intentionally steered clear of Westfield.
Miu Miu etc are there, but Louis Vuitton is a different market.
