‘Ad guru’ brings the crazy for Nine
Melbourne’s freelance creative scene is one female “ad guru” down today after Jessie Jordan – JJ to her friends – opting to stay in WA’s Margaret River to pursue love in Nine’s new reality series when Love Comes to Town.
It seems Nine’s new thinly-veiled clone of A Farmer Wants a Wife, which sees a group of 12 city girls travelling to country locations to find “love”, has turned to adland to find a few contestants, and bring a healthy dose of crazy to the party.

Dr Mumbo was disappointed to see “ad guru”, as the producers described JJ who has freelanced at several Melbourne agencies, decide to remain in Margaret River after an explosive date with 29-year-old carpenter/surfer Adam which saw her accuse him of being jealous before deciding she is actually in love with him…you can watch her meltdown here via Nine’s catch up service Jump In.
Sadly fellow country bachelor Moshe, a 26-year-old lawyer, couldn’t get Renee Lavis, a client manager at PR firm 22 Management, interested in his big banana…a stuffed banana he won in a carnival game (get your minds out of the gutter).
She opted to hop back on a bus with ten girls to pursue love, or fame, in the next country town.
how does “JJ” (class of 2000 at Wollongong High) manage to be only 30?

Pretty easily Gong. Do the maths, 17 years old in 2000, add 14 years to that & take off 1 year as the show was taped over 6 mths ago & she probably hadn’t had a b’day yet. Makes her 30.
