Maccas launches ad for new ‘desserverage’ Frozen Coke McFloat
McDonald’s has launched a campaign for a new product that is part Coca-Cola and part ice cream.
In the ad, a trio of guys sitting in McDonald’s struggle to come up with definition for the new product, the Frozen Coke McFloat.
The agency behind the campaign was DDB Sydney.
Does this pass as advertising these days? Well done you hacks.

Saw this ad the other night. The bromance made me giggle. Very endearing advertising #shitrealpeoplesayaboutadvertising

For a price of $2.95 (for a small, I assume?)…might’s well just go to a real cafe, order yourself a real spider (featuring REAL ice cream and non-syrup based coke) for the same price.

Yep, agree with Coops. One of the worst pieces of advertising I have seen in a long time. This actually tuns me off from buying the product completely. So well done guys

Since they got rid of the Oreo McFlurry I won’t give them the time of day…..
.I’m not fond of the ad either, much more funnier things that they could have come up with.
Maybe its a guy thing?

Saw it. Laughed. Like it. Wont buy one because I dont have a sweet tooth but it makes me continue to like the overall brand. So job done I say. Casting is hysterical !

I’m loving that that’s the image DDB thought of when they thought,
“Who shops at McDonalds?”
“Who are we pitching this to?”
Commenter #5, do you picture yourself as the idiot, the idiot, or the bottomer?
