Things not so Sunny at “The Week”?

Almost a year since its auspicious $5 million dollar launch and “The Week” still haven’t managed to find their way onto Roy Morgan Readership or a circulation audit through the ABC. The murmers are growing that this title has so far failed to find its audience – which is easy to understand as I don’t know a lot of people who will spend $4.95 so they can read last week’s news.

Fancifully claiming to be ”Australia’s fastest growing news magazine” the numbers sure do speak for themselves at theweek.com.au

Projected circulation of 25,000 – June 09 – Obviously forgot to put in an application in time! Readership of 93,000 – Fusion research study – Feb 09 – Roy Morgan? Who?

With the need for transparency more important than ever I guess I should finish off with a simple “please explain”?
