Managing director of Macquarie Radio Network Rob Lowenthal quits
Managing director of the Macquarie Radio Network Rob Loewenthal has resigned from the network and will leave his job and the board of directors from next Friday, March 28.
The network made the announcement to shareholders on the ASX this morning.
Russell Tate, executive chairman of the network said in the statement: “Rob has been a key part of our management team and as a colleague and friend I wish him continued success as he seeks new challenges.”
Tate said there would be no replacement appointed to the role and he would resume the position of chairman and CEO.
MRN operates stations 2GB and 2CH in Sydney.
Loewenthal has run the network as MD for more than seven years.
More soon.
3AW is owned by Fairfax. It certainly isn’t part of the MRN. It must be Singleton dreamin’ again.
