Mark Kennedy to leave Vivaki Exchange after 18 years to be replaced by three new bosses

Long serving Publicis Groupe employee and managing director of Vivaki Exchange Mark Kennedy is leaving the business after almost 18 years at the agency.

Kennedy helped establish the business, but will now leave, citing that he wanted to pursue “other ambitions” but would ” still have a connection to the business.”

He will be replaced by fellow Vivaki executive Anthony Ellis from ZenithOptimedia, and Nicole Turley from StarcomMediavest, with both reporting to Kennedy’s former boss Kevin Malloy, based in Auckland in New Zealand.

Malloy said: “Mark has been an outstanding media executive for a very long time, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.

“I would like to personally thank him for the hard work and dedication he brought to setting up the Exchange. Anthony and Nicole are two of the most respected investment talents in the market, and I am looking forward to working with them to write a new chapter in the future of Vivaki Exchange.”

Sydney-based ZenithOptimedia CEO Ian Perrin was unavailable for comment.

“My time with the Publicis Groupe has been fantastic and we have achieved a lot,” Kennedy said in a staement.

“After 30 years of agency life it’s time to pursue other ambitions but I will definitely stay connected to the business and the friends I have made along the way.”
