MassMedia Studios ads two to senior management team
Digital agency MassMedia Studios has made two new senior appointments. Vlad Ivanovic has join as digital strategist from Draft FCB in the UK where he was head of innovation while James Stanton joins as creative director, previously from Ogilvy and M&C Saatchi’s digital arm, Mark.
The announcement:
MassMedia Studios, a leading digital agency specialising in relationship marketing, has today announced the appointment of Vlad Ivanovic as Digital Strategist and James Stanton as Creative Director, who will join the senior management team, in a move aimed at bolstering MassMedia’s creative and strategy departments.
Vlad Ivanovic has joined MassMedia from the position of Head of Innovation for Draft FCB in the UK, where he was involved in a number of successful start-ups. Originally from Australia, Ivanovic returns to a newly created position to expand the businesses offerings.
James Stanton, originally from the UK where he started and ran BRANDlab, has spent his time in Australia with Ogilvy and M&Cs/Mark helping them build both team and client retention. Stanton was headhunted for the role because of his reputation for pushing the boundaries.
“I don’t buy into convention – it lacks creative energy, and this is what will define and differentiate us moving forward,” said Stanton.
Hired to drive creativity throughout everything MassMedia does, Stanton will work on expanding a number of opportunities in the market using the strong knowledge he obtained from the past 17 years working with a number of leading global brands.
MassMedia is focused on innovation development through ongoing customer relations. Managing Director, Adam Quirk, said he is committed to a new way of working, delivering differentiated solutions that compliment a shift back to return-based marketing.
“MassMedia knows how important it is to stand out from the crowd and our recent investment in the strategic and creative side of our business is a demonstration of this,” said Quirk. “We believe both Vlad and James will allow us to drive even greater results for our clients, and we are excited to have them both join us.”
Ivanovic echoed these sentiments. “There is a very talented team at MassMedia and the company has a strong focus on relationship marketing and returning measurable value back to their client’s business. I don’t think enough agencies take ownership of their client’s numbers and in today’s fragmented media landscape it’s a critical part of our business,” said Ivanovic. “Digital strategy gives us a framework for activity. More important than the initial strategy is how you structure ongoing activity to continually learn, revise and optimise the various facets of your digital presence.”
Both Vlad and James will help support MassMedia’s key clients that include Audi Australia, FOXTEL, Betta Electrical, Bank of Queensland, ACTTAB and South Australian Tourism Commission.
