Match launches campaign for National Bandana Day

Independent media agency Match has launched a campaign for youth cancer charity CanTeen’s National Bandana Day.

Fronted by radio host Andrew G, the ad calls for kids to submit pictures of themselves ‘rocking’ in CanTeen Bandanas for a chance to win cash prizes.

Created by Marlin Communications, the TVC follows another recent campaign for the charity by Tribal DDB.

Melinda Hutchings, national media and communications manager, CanTeen said: “Match Media’s partnership with MCM is an exciting step forward in media innovation for CanTeen. Our objective was to engage our audience in the theme ‘show cancer who’s boss’ through encouraging participation in our Facebook ‘Rock-tober’ competition, and asking our audience to buy and wear a CanTeen bandanna during the month of October and on National Bandanna Day to help young people stand up to cancer.”

The campaign includes radio, print and online.
