Can anyone tell me how this campaign is any different to the Beer Economy that Tooheys ran for a couple of years??!!
Good to see previous comments from what one would assume are Ogilvy people

No Astro turfing from me mate, not from Ogilvy, don’t even know anyone there. Beer Economy is a similar idea, but it was hardly the first time it had been used. This is a great execution and the kiss make up guys are money. Far better than what kfc lately. I’m target demo and I’d buy but I don’t like smokey BBQ sauce 😉

What is it with all the negativity on this site? Every time an agency does something a little different people like ‘Frustrated’ have to criticise.
Nice work Ogilvy

Justin R – it’s easier to criticise than to create.
That’s life in the creative business – if you create stuff, you have to be able to handle criticism, some of it deserved, much of it not

Dom, are you still a Senior Writer at Ogilvy? For that, my friend, you truly are a legend

Possibly worst art direction on burgers I have seen yet.
Isn’t it about the burger???

I Work for KFC, so for me, this new campaign so far has been effective in terms of the new burger has been selling. I have sold a fare few since it launched about 2 and a half weeks ago, but for me, my assumed target audience that KFC has intended with this new burger, is for young to mature aged men who can handle this mammoth “black edition”. I wouldn’t eat it as it is a large filler just on it’s own!
But on that, I do commend my own work on what has so far appeared to be a successful or future successful campaign

Highly offensive ad! Hate the reference to taking one for the team as the poor guy sleeps on the floor—-what does this mean—woman are team trophys??? How about the single woman sitting in the poor male poker night? what degradation to women!!!! Lost my vote KFC, and my custom and every single person I come into contact with, which in my profession is many. Black Edition indeed—-black mark to women more the point. You should sponsor NRL then all the inuendos would not be noticed. Shame on you.
