MCN boosts digital team after Telstra sales deal

Multi Channel Network digital is to more than double its staff in the next month as it moves to control sales for Telstra Advertising Network’s digital assets, following a decision by the network to outsource digital to MCN earlier this year.

The staff increase will include promotion of existing personnel, Telstra executive appointments and new hires, taking the team from 23 to 60.

The Melbourne branch will be headed by digital strategist Kath Sroka.

MCN national digital sales director, Nick Young, said: “Kath’s appointment to Melbourne Digital Sales Director comes at a key time in the company’s growth. Her role in the team is pivotal within the MCN business as we look to deliver seamless, cross platform solutions for clients that extend past our premium TV assets.”

Other key hires include Spencer Rogers as digital sales manager, Owen De Vos as Digital sports sales manager and Kathryn Wright as strategic integration digital manager.
