Conspiracy 365 acquired by eOne for MIPCOM

Australian teen action series Conspiracy 365, commissioned by Movie Network Channels and produced by Circa Media has been acquired by international studio Entertainment One.

EOne will launch the $13m TV-led multi-platform series to the rest of the world at the forthcoming MIPCOM Television market in Cannes.

EOne’s local arm, eOne Hopscotch Entertainment will release the series on DVD in Australia in the lead up to Christmas and once the final episode has aired.

Jude Troy, eOne Hopscotch Entertainment’s managing director said: “We see Conspiracy 365 as an excellent fit and a fantastic addition to our range of successful TV shows from The Walking Dead through to Peppa Pig.”

Peter Jenetsky, GM of content strategy and marketing for MNC and EP on Conspiracy 365, who brokered the deal, said: “We are excited to finally make available the Series to international fans of the novels. During its Australian broadcast this year, fans from the USA and UK to Europe and Asia have strongly voiced to us via social media and our website their enthusiasm to see the series released in their territories.”

The series is about a teenager Cal forced to be a fugitive on the run as he searches for the truth behind a family secret.
