Melissa Mullins joins UM
Media agency UM has appointed a new senior strategist to its Sydney office.
Melissa Mullins will join the company as a strategy director and work across the newly won account of News Limited.
Mullins joins from OMD where she is currently Sydney strategy group head working on the Tourism Australia account as well as previous involvement in McDonald’s campaigns across media properties So You Think You Can Dance, Celebrity MasterChef and X Factor.
UM Australia’s chief strategy officer Stefan Burford said: “Mel is a world class strategic thinker with a great track record in creating and developing big communications ideas. Her passion and energy are a great fit for UM and we are looking forward to her joining the Sydney team.”
Of her appointment, Mullins said: “There is a lot of buzz about UM in the market and to join the agency and particularly to work on News Limited is an exciting opportunity.”
