miranda devineNews Corp columnist Miranda Devine is to present a new weekly Sunday afternoon talkback program on 2GB, Mumbrella can reveal.

“It’s pacy – news, current affair, opinion, talkback,” Devine told Mumbrella. “That’s what 2GB does.”

Sydney Weekend with Dan Mullins previously held the 4pm – 6pm timeslot on both Saturday and Sunday.

At this stage Devine has no plans to be involved in summer programming.

On what the program will cover this Sunday, she said: “Wait and see, watch this space.”

“Tune in, you’ll be pleasantly surprised,” she added.

2GB, owned by the Macquarie Radio Network, is Sydney’s highest rating radio station with presenters including Alan Jones and Ray Hadley.
