Mitsubishi Motors calls advertising review
Mitsubishi Motors Australia has kicked off an advertising review.
The review, which began earlier this week, is only open to a “select” group of agencies, the Adelaide-based carmaker told Mumbrella.
Incumbent Clemenger BBDO, which has handled the account for about a decade, has confirmed that it will defend the business, led out of the Adelaide office.
Media, which is handled by MEC Adelaide, is not affected by the process.
The Pajero is a truly legendary 4wd. It is sturdy, and reliable. It is affordable, compared with quite a few other popular models in the market.
In my opinion “love that car” softens the Pajero’s brand perception. It isn’t a car, it is a highly capable and robust 4wd!!

This should not be a reflection on Clems. its not as if the sight of a Mitsubishi on the road has people turning heads, or rushing into showrooms with their cheque books.
And pricing is so competitive nowadays. New VW Golf for $21K. Honda Civic less than it cost 20 years ago. The world has changed and so must Mitsubishi. I wish them and Clems good luck.

Ive got a ford, 2 hondas, a mini, a jeep, an Audi and a Mitsubishi. The Mitsubishi is as functional as any of them and better in many ways than the the others, bar the Audi. It was also a very low cost vehicle and with 10 years warranty an excellent risk free solution – and its held up really well despite my son punishing it.
Harry clearly has no idea what he’s talking about. That was a stupid comment to make. All the best to both Clems and Mitsubishi – Car marketing is hard and competitive especially when you have idiots making ignorant comments like that!

Chow – Owning seven cars and rating the Mitsubishi one below the Audi has very little to do with understanding ‘car marketing’. No one with any sense can say the Mitsubishi ads are good.
