Dove has released another ad beauty, this time in Sweden and from the perspective of three women who are blind. From their perspective, beauty is a feeling brought on by actions and circumstances rather than aesthetics. Though they share some personal criticisms about their own appearances, all three equate beauty with feeling strong and energetic, with having fun, with being in love.

Mumbrella Asia: Maxus rolls out marketing command centres

Maxus has teamed up with WPP sibling social media agency Vocanic to launch marketing command centres around the region.

Called Maxus Mesh, the platforms are designed to keep the GroupM agency’s clients “ahead of the curve” by gauging news and consumer sentiment in social media. They are also geared to help with crisis communications and monitor brand health.

These two seemingly unrelated events are linked. During the second quarter of the game, Nationwide aired its now infamous spot that sought to promote childhood safety with a depiction of a young boy who dies. The outcry on social media was immediate and voluminous. Viewers mocked the spot to the point where it drew an estimated 230,000 social mentions during the game, most of which were negative, according to digital marketing technology company Amobee.
