  2. Any chance that “Soup” (for creative agency of the year) is actually meant to be “Soap”?
The only Soup google tells me about is in the UK; http://www.soup.co.uk/

  6. Hi Matthew,

Thanks for your interest. Soup’s website address is http://www.thesoup.com.au . They’re a word of mouth agency.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,

    Mumbrella – Camille

  8. Mark Pollard – Life, Then Strategy. If you don’t already know him, or haven’t heard of him, go check out the book Mark and a few of his mates pulled together for boys to get in touch with themselves. Very nice job.

  10. Hi Matthew,

Camille’s right, Soup not Soap (nothing against Soap of course).

That counts as a vote right Camille?

Surely Tim means SOAP not SOUP??! Nothing against your SOUP but I believe you are more of a word of mouth agency and would not qualify as a creative agency??

  22. Hi Rog,

In our call for entries we wanted to make sure people did not confuse creative agency with traditional agency.

Our view is that it’s possible for agencies beyond the traditional TVC shop to answer a brief and craft a solution. Hence you also see The Hallway, whose heartland is digital, in the mix.

In this case, I hope the winner will be the one that readers like the thinking and execution best for, not their main channel (s).

    Cheers,

    Tim

  32. Soup are behind some of the Tooheys Extra Dry work – they presented their campaign at Adtech, earlier this year. As far as I can tell they’re fairly progressive & innovative. Maybe not a creative agency by traditional definitions, but they’re certainly creative in the way they go about things.

waiting with interest to see where the votes go!

  34. There’s so much more out there that should have been nominated. But at the end of the day, there are only so many appreciating eyes that are willing to nominate.
I look forward to next years list :)
