Mumbrella Sports Marketing Summit heads to Sydney’s Royal Randwick on July 28
Mumbrella’s Sports Marketing Summit is to be held in Sydney this year. And following feedback from sporting codes, the event will take place earlier in the sporting calendar, on Thursday, July 28.
Last year’s event saw around 300 delegates pack the Melbourne Cricket Ground to hear from a range of speakers across different codes.
The sell-out launch event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground featured a keynote address from FFA CEO David Gallop as well as keynote sessions from All Blacks’ chief marketer Todd Barberel and a host of senior executives from across the sports industries.
This year’s will be held at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, and will once again be curated by Mumbrella editor Alex Hayes.
The one-day summit will have three streams covering all aspects of sports marketing. With the Olympics in August and new sports rights deals in place, the industry is looking for new ways to bring fans and brands together and connect with viewers, all of which will be explored during the day. The full program will be announced in the coming weeks.
Anyone wishing to make session or speaker proposals should email alex@mumbrella.com.au.
Earlybird tickets, with a discount of $100 if booked before June 28 are on sale now via this link.
What sort of things are discussed and what is the target audience? Checked out the site, but 2016 content is missing and 2015 content doesn’t give much away besides who was speaking?
