Nando’s goes for quick radio ad focused on Britney’s miming

The Sphere Agency has raced to air with another topical radio ad for Nando’s.  

On this occasion, the ad riffs on today’s news stories that Britney Spears will be lip-synching during her Australian tour. The script:

VO: And now we present Britney Spears endorsing Nando’s…

SFX: Silence/Microphone buzz

VO: Nando’s sincerely apologises for the lack of audio, but it seems Britney was miming this ad. We suggest putting YOUR mouth to much better use, by eating Nando’s deliciously fresh Portuguese PERi-PERi chicken at your local Nando’s restaurant today.

VO (off mic): Britney, interested in a game of charades?

  4. Nice work! On the miming front – how come professional musical casts can manage
    to sing AND dance their way through a two-hour show?? Time to get game fit Britty
    or drop the ticket price accordingly… perhaps anyway that has already PAID for her
    albums should get a discount as they’ve subsidised much of the show??

  14. Hope they’ve got their lawyers ready. We all know ‘Britney Spears’ is a brand and hopefully Nando’s has recognised that before clearly mentioning her name in their advertisement.
