Network Ten digital sales manager joins Mamamia as Victorian sales director
Network Ten digital group sales manager Luke Manley is leaving the network after just over three years to take on the Victorian sales director role at Mamamia Women’s Network.
Manley fills a vacancy created by current director Fran Vavallo’s maternity leave and will head MWN’s Victorian ad sales team, and his move comes on the day Ten’s sales team is moving under new sales house MCN.
National sales manager Danika Johnston said in a statement: “Luke’s remarkable background in online video is a sensational enhancement to our content focused sales team as we partner with more clients on exciting cross-platform campaigns.
“As our Network and audience grows, MWN are investing heavily in dedicated local teams to work closely with agencies and clients on the ground – having Luke bring his expertise and leadership to the Melbourne team is a real win.”
Prior to Network Ten Manley was the director of digital strategy and communications at Abundant Media.
Commenting on his new role Manley said: “MWN is a publisher that is getting it right, delivering content their audience is hungry for, in a tone that’s pitch perfect and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with clients in that environment. ”
Luke is one of the best operators going around, and a great bloke as well. Great appointment.

Might that be Fran Vavallo’s maternity leave?
