New catalogue of bloggers ‘Catablog’ launches
A new paid online directory, called Catablog, aimed at helping brands, advertisers and PR agencies find and connect with the multitude of bloggers has launched today.
The service. created by technology expert and IT media commentator Trevor Long, Verve Communications PR Prue MacSween, and journalist/radio producer, Janyne Moore claims to offer listings for 1,872 Australian and New Zealand blogs.
“The sole purpose of Catablog is to become the most detailed database of bloggers in the country,” said Long. “Catablog brings thousands of blogs together, listed by category and ranked in real-time every day, based on social audiences and reach.
“This directory links together the best, the niche, the popular and the unique content on the internet with the PR Companies and Ad Agencies behind some of the many brands looking to get in touch with those very same bloggers.”
Catablog will offer website owners and bloggers free registration to expose their sites to an audience of brands and agencies. It also provide agencies who subscribe to the service with a ranking system based on social media reach and engagement.
The online blogger directory will not be sharing its database publicly but agencies can register for a gold or silver member at a price of $899 and $499 respectively.
“Being part of this directory will mean that PR companies and brands across Australia and New Zealand will be able to contact relevant bloggers when they next plan a campaign or launch a product in their field of interest.”
