News Australia Sales sees launch of Australia’s largest integrated sales team

news australia salesNews Limited has today launched its integrated sales operation in what it claims is now Australia’s biggest single media sales team.

The launch of News Australia Sales is backed with a “Power of People” marketing campaign promoting the company’s audience reach.

The new offering includes the company’s newspapers, digital titles and newspaper-inserted magazines. However it does not include the magazines within the NewsLifeMedia stable which rebranded from News Magazines last year.

News Australia Sales is led by chief commercial officer Tony Prentice, who is also chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Prentice discusses the launch with Mumbrella editor Tim Burrowes:

Prentice claimed: “The new team will be backed up by the biggest and best support team around. Our marketing services team will have more media strategists than most agencies, world class creative and product teams and a reader panel that will provide enormous value to our agency clients.”

News Australia Sales has three divisions – sales, marketing and ad operations.
