News Corp advertise Disney promotion with ad featuring Frozen and other Disney classics

News Corp Australia is starting a new promotion with Disney giving away Read to Me Storybooks and CDs with every purchase of a one of its newspapers in Coles or Woolworths, and is promoting it with an ad campaign created by Archibald Williams.

The ad promotes the different stories including Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and Frozen which come with a Collector’s case with a $2.50 purchase of a News Corp paper.

News Corp Australia’s group director of marketing Damian Eales said: “With all of the distractions of modern life, the value of reading and the issue of childhood literacy has never been more important.

“Our Disney collection will help parents and grandparents establish the ritual of reading with children. And what better way to do than through the magic of Disney’s stories, both old and new.”

The series launches this Sunday with The Sunday Times and the following Saturday in conjunction with The Advertiser, Sunday Mail, NT News, Sunday Territorian, Mercury and Sunday Tasmanian.

It will then extend to The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph, the Herald Sun and the Sunday Herald Sun, the Geelong Advertiser, The Sunday Mail, The Gold Coast Bulletin, Townsville Bulletin and The Cairns Post on Sunday February 8.

The campaign is being supported by a national TVC, outdoor, social media advertisements and in-paper promotions.
