Newspaper Works breaks into the film era – even if it is a silent movie
It’s always nice to see somebody trying new things. So well done to Newspaper Works – the marketing body of the newspaper industry – for giving it a go with a video ad which it has posted to its YouTube channel today.
Far be it for Dr Mumbo to suggest that sometimes a bit of audio is nice to go with those movign pictures. Or that the “facts” might need a tad more detail if they’re to be convincing.
But he can picture the conversation as the intrigued media buyer rings up their local newspaper sales executive: ‘Hello – can I have some more fast facts please?”
Still, you’ve got to start somewhere…
